What was funny when I first started blogging I knew her as Little House In The Desert and

to be given to Bloggers who are perceived to be real in who they are.

IF THE SHOE FITS is for people with enthusisam. NOW I AM GOING TO NOMINATE TEN

on top of every new blog that comes along. She loves to collect rocks, which is a passion of mine

and she loves to go to flea markets and rummage sales. It is a lot of fun to see what she finds.

Please stop by and visit her. Your a good egg Xashee.

  12. Thanks for your kind comments on Life in the Slow Lane. I started my blog last August at the suggestion of my youngest son. If you care to read the back story, you can go here:

    http://kbeau.blogspot.com/2008/08/power-bars-or-how-blog-was-born.html

I just recently, through another blog I started following, discovered all of these daily opportunities for sharing.

  13. Great pictures for you Wordless Wednesday and I am sorry I was so confusing. I am not the only little house in the desert. I am a Raggedy Girl (my nickname for myself) living in that little house in the desert but I like to sign off as

Roberta Anne....must be a serious case of split personality. Smiles

  20. I think this is my third visit, which is a new world's record. I did not think anything of it other than I do have a lot going on. Someone else said you have nothing about the desert on your blog so I added the little sage brush labels. We don't live in the cactus desert but we abound in sagebrush and tumbling tumble weeds. I so love your blog and love to visit but this is it for today...smiles....you already know who this is....

  23. Hi Debbie! Your pictures are perfect for the season.

Thanks for the advice on my dining room. I'm in an OCD mode right now and I need to snap out of it! It's really not that important.

  28. All I can say is I am a Dory! I am not sure what you mean. As my son use to say when he was young "Help me member!" I am sometimes computer challenged and maybe I did something I didn't mean to. So no you have not offended and to my knowledge I have never removed myself from any I have joined. So I am 'returning' (maybe it was my evil twin)
    Happy Wed, Candy

  30. Debbie,
I've noticed too, that when i start giving thanks, I realize how many things we really do have to be thankful for that we usually take for granted, like the air we breathe, being able to walk ,sing and on and on.

Thank you for entering my giveaway.

    Blessings,
    Barbara Jean

  34. Thank you Debbie for leaving a encouraging comment for me, It is very much appreciated. I do love the Lord and I know I'm able to put my trust in him to move on our situation. I have been down many roads in my life where Jesus has always moved on my behalf. Sometimes the trials he puts in our life can be tough, but its for our own good, and it lets us give him the glory in all this. Thank you so much for your time and visit.

  35. Lovely post to herald our preparation for Easter.Debbie, I was so frustrated on Monday as I encountered problems leaving a comment on your previous post. So here it is!

Everytime I see the sparrows pecking at the seed bell hanging in the garden, I think of that scripture. The Christian writer, Derek Prince, once spoke of our Heavenly Father as the One who attends the funeral of every sparrow. I think that is awesome! Before my husband and I got married and were looking for our first apartment to rent on the smell of an oil rag (we were both university students without any fixed income), I spotted some sparrows foraging in an alley. Immediately I knew that Richard and I would have all we needed when we got married! And so we did. God is faithful!

  36. Hello Debbie...

Just wanted to stop by to say thank you for visiting my little frenchy studio/office and thank you for your sweet comments!!! This is my first time to visit over at your place...so nice to meet you!

First of all, just wanted to say that I love the scripture in Ecclesiates that you put on this post! I have always thought that this is a wonderful scripture for marriage...the husband, wife...and the 3rd cord being Jesus! With so many marriages failing today...we certainly need Jesus in the center of our relationships to be successful!!!

Congratulations on all of your blogging awards!!! Come by any time for a visit...I'd love to have you and you're always welcomed!!!

    Warmest wishes,
    Chari

  39. Beautiful, beautiful post Debbie, you always know the most comforting, loving things to say. I do pray that things are going well in your world. My precious youngest son just spent three days in the hospital and was so ill. God in his great kindness brought great healing to him through the skilled hands of his doctors and nurses. I wish I could say that my faith was so strong that I rallied through this event but no my heart was so filled with angst and worry that I have made myself sick.. I do pray for God's forgiveness of this sinner's weak spirit. I am not surprised by these wonderful awards that you have been given, your very special loving heart comes through every word. I feel very blessed to have found you. Hugs, Cindy
