This is my other china doll and she is in pink and white ruffles...it looks peach in the photograph but it is not
My photography does not do these pictures justice. My china doll is in pink velvet and in front of her is a JB Coates reproduction tin with a beautiful pink handle. My sister and I got them at Wal Mart over 5 years ago on sale for $1.25.....we thought we had won the lottery. If you look close to the dolls left side you will see a gold hand....it was in a box of junk that they were auctioning off at the fancy clothing store Lamberts.....I purchased it for 2.00 and an antique dealer offered me 80.00 for it 6 1/2 years ago...it set on the display cases and would hold gloves....I wouldn't dream of selling it.......I love it....The one finger had been broken and glued but you can't tell it. You can see my Hollie Hobby paper dolls in the box leaning on the right side of the doll case. If you were standing straight looking at the display cabinet the front door is to the right...the left leads through the dining room and into the kitchen,
Your dolls are beautiful and the clothes they wear are gorgeous. Happy pink Saturday

The doll is so beautiful. I need to find a doll like that. Our Goodwill's here in town have a special section in their stores where they hold auctions and they always have antique dolls. I need to participate in one.

About my recipe book. The notebooks that I have selected have a front sleeve to insert a cover page. What I have been doing is going through all of my family photos and putting aside those where either the boys or I were in the kitchen or eating anywhere, even picnics. Then I'm going to make a collage of the pictures for an 8" by 10" format and have that printed either at Walgreen's or Wal-Mart.
ReplyDeleteVoila! All I'll have to do is slip it in the sleeve for even more nostalgia for the kids! Please keep in touch. I'd like to know how your progress is moving along on your book, too!
LOVE the dolls! Pink Saturday is FUN! Thank you for sharing! Hope you are having a GREAT weekend! :D
