PIZZA DELIVERY MAN A HERO

XOXO...AMY...XOXO
ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS

GEORGE  LINN  AND  HIS  FAMILY  MOVED

TO  LAKEWOOD,  COLORADO  ON  JULY  9,  2010.

CHRIS  WUEBBEN,  MOVED  TO  LAKEWOOD,

COLORADO  AFTER  HE  WAS  LAID  OFF  AS

A  PARAMEDIC.  HE  HAD  BEEN  AN  EMT  IN

THE  NATIONAL  GUARD  AND  HAD  JUST

RETURNED  FROM  IRAQ.

GEORGE  LINN  HAD  BEEN  IN  THE  HOSPITAL

LAST  WEEK  WITH  HEART  PROBLEMS.

CHRIS  WUEBBEN,  THE  UNEMPLOYED  PARAMEDIC,

RECENTLY  TOOK  A  JOB  AT  JOHNNY'S  NEW  YORK

PIZZA  IN  LAKEWOOD,  UNTIL  HE  FOUND  A  JOB

AS  A  PARAMEDIC.

GEORGE  HAD  BEEN  DISCHARGED  FROM  THE

HOSPITAL  ON  WEDNESDAY.  FRIDAY  NIGHT  THEY

DECIDED  TO  ORDER  PIZZA.

AN  HOUR  LATER  GEORGE  TOLD  HIS

WIFE,  KAMI,  "OH  NO!"  AND  GRABBED

HIS  NECK  AND  COLLAPSED  ON  THE  FLOOR.

KAMI  SAID  AS  SHE  RAN  TO

THE  PHONE  TO  DIAL  911,  THE

DOOR  BELL  RANG.

SHE  SAID  SHE  RAN  TO  THE

DOOR  AND  SCREAMED  AT  THE

MAN  STANDING  THERE...."HELP

ME!  HELP  ME!  MY  HUSBAND

HAS  COLLAPSED."

THE  MAN  AT  THE  DOOR,  ( WHO

WAS  LATER  IDENTIFIED  AS  CHRIS

WUEBBEN)  SAID,

"I  AM  A  PARAMEDIC,"  AND

HE  BEGAN  CPR  AND  CONTINUED

UNTIL  THE  AMBULANCE  WITH

THE  EMT'S  ARRIVED.

KAMI  WAS  TOLD  BY   ALL

THE   DOCTORS

AND  NURSES  THAT  CHRIS  SAVED

GEORGE'S  LIFE !!

  "WE  WANT

TO  THANK  THE  PIZZA

DELIVERY  GUY,"  SAID  KAMI

AS  SHE  CHOKED  BACK  TEARS.

OUT  OF  OBEDIENCE  AND  NEED

CHRIS  WUEBBEN  TOOK  A  JOB

AS  A  PIZZA  DELIVERY  MAN  WHICH

WAS  NOT  WHAT  HE  WAS  TRAINED

TO  BE...HE  WAS  A  PARAMEDIC.

I  READ  ON  ONE  OF  THE  BLOGS

WHERE  A  MAN  SAID,  "AFTER

HEARING  THIS  STORY,  IT  WOULD

ALMOST  MAKE  ONE  BELIEVE  IN

A  HIGHER  POWER."

MY  DEAR  SIR,  I  TELL  YOU  THERE

IS  A  HIGHER  POWER....FATHER,

SON,  AND  HOLY  GHOST,  JESUS

CHRIST.

I  COULD  QUOTE  SO  MANY

SCRIPTURES  AT  THIS  TIME  BUT

THE  BIBLE  SAYS,  EVERY  HAIR

ON  OUR  HEAD  IS  NUMBERED...

(Matthew  10: 29 - 31 )

(Luke  12: 6 - 8)

I  TRULY  BELIEVE  THAT  NO  ONE

DIES  UNTIL  YOUR  HAIRS  ARE  UP.....

YOU  KNOW  WHAT  I  MEAN.

IT  WAS  NOT  GEORGE'S  HAIR  DAY.

AND  CHRIS  WAS  THERE  TO  SEE  THAT

GEORGE  WOULD  LIVE.....

CHRIS  WAS  GOD'S  PROVISION

FOR  GEORGE!!!

WE  SERVE  AN  AWESOME  GOD!!!

SOMETIMES  WE  DON'T  RECEIVE

THE  ANSWER  WE  WANT  BUT

GOD  HAS  OUR  PROVISION

AROUND  THE  CORNER  TO

HELP  US.

DO  YOU  HAVE  AN  ANGEL  STORY

YOU  WOULD  LIKE  TO  SHARE...YOU

NEVER  KNOW  IF  YOU  ARE

"GOD'S

PROVISION"

FOR  SOMEONE  ELSE.

I  HAVE  SOME

SERIOUS

PRAYER

REQUESTS......

PAM...her  cancer  has  returned
and  she  is  broken-
hearted  and  very  de-
pressed.

ROY-and Elisabeth...Elisabeth  was
layed  off  from  her  job
without  warning.  Roy
continues  his  battle  with
cancer.

LORETTA'S  MOTHER- having
serious complications
from diabetes  and  is  facing
surgery  to  keep  the  cir-
culation  to  her  lower  legs.

SHAUNA-continues  her  battle
with cancer.

BONNIE- battle with ovarian cancer

LAURA'S  MOTHER-(of 52 flea)
is very ill.

JACK  and KATE-Jack is in the
battle of his life.

COLETTE-breast cancer

TED-adjusting to diabetes

sudden death of son

THERE ARE SO  VERY  MANY  PEOPLE

IN  NEED  OF  HEALING,  IN  NEED  OF

JOBS,  IN  NEED  OF  RESTORATION,

IN  NEED  OF  KINDNESS  AND  HUMAN

TOUCH.

I  WILL  NEVER  FORGET  WHEN  THE

STILL  VOICE  OF  GOD  SPOKE  THIS

INTO  MY  SPIRIT:

THE  STORMS  WE  GO  THROUGH

TURN  INTO  SUNSHINE  WHEN  SHARED

WITH  OTHERS  WHO  ARE  IN  A  DARK

STORM  AND  CAN'T  SEE  THEIR  WAY

OUT.

THANK  YOU  FOR  STICKING  WITH

ME  THROUGH  THE  UPS  AND  DOWNS

OF  AMY'S  JOURNEY  AND  HER

GRADUATION  TO  HEAVEN.

SOME  DAY'S  I  WANT  TO  JUST

SCREAM  AND  SAY  SHE'S  NOT

LOST...SHE  IS  DEAD  DAMN IT...

DEAD...WITH  A  CAPITAL  D...

I  GO  TO  HER  GRAVE  2-  3  X'S

A  WEEK.  I  CRY...I  MOURN...I

THROW  UP...I  BEG  GOD  TO  SEND

HER  BACK...I  HAVE  AGITATION...

AND  I  HAVE  NO  TOLERANCE  FOR

PEOPLE  WHO  ARE  WAY  TOO  SELFISH

TO  UNDERSTAND  THIS.

THEN  I  GAIN  MY  SELF-CONTROL

AND  REPENT  OF  MY  UGLINESS

AND  CONTINUE  TO  TRY  AND  BE

GOD'S  PROVISION  TO  SOMEONE.

PEOPLE  THINK  IF  YOU  ARE  A

CHRISTIAN,  YOU  NEVER  HAVE  A

BAD  DAY...SINCE  AMY  DIED  IT

IS  LIKE  AN  EXAMPLE  MY  MOTHER

GAVE  ME  THIS  EVENING  WHEN  I

WAS  TALKING  TO  HER  AND  DADDY,

AND  I  WAS  BOO-HOOING  OVER  AMY...

I  TOLD  THEM  IT  WAS  LIKE  I  WAS

GONE...THAT  I  AM  SO  LOST AND  I

MISS  HER  SO  MUCH  AND  MY  SON

AND  DIL  ARE  4  HOURS  AWAY....

SHE  SAID,  "DEBBIE,  IT  IS  LIKE  YOU

HAVE  HAD  A  IDENTITY  THEFT...YOU

WERE/ARE  AMY'S  MOTHER  AND  NOW

YOU  HAVE  TO  FIND  OUT  WHO

DEBBIE  REALLY  IS."

GOOD  DAYS...DARK  DAYS...

PLEASE  REMEMBER  TO  PRAY

FOR  DONNA...IT  IS  APPROACHING

THE  ONE  YEAR  ANNIVERSARY  OF

HER  BEAUTIFUL  DAUGHTER,

AMBER'S, GRADUATION  TO  HEAVEN.

THIS  IS  A  VERY  DIFFICULT  TIME

FOR  HER  AND  HER  FAMILY.

WE  LOVE  YOU  DONNA.

  2. Debbie....you are one dear lady...and so many people depend on you for your support of their prayer needs.
In other words THEY need you.
And you KNOW I say the following with the love and concern of a mother who too has lost a child too.
Debbie, if you are "to the point" of physically throwing up...you my sweet, dear friend need to seek PROFESSIONAL counseling for your grief and loss related issues....you are going to become VERY ill if you do not have another OUTLET for this deep, deep pain.
You are going to grieve yourself to death. And I know... you say (like I did.) .."so what"....but you are needed and loved and cared about..and you need to take care of yourself.
PLEASE do that for yourself and for your remaining family and friends.
Remember, Amy would NEVER want you to continue feeling this badly for the rest of your life.
In your heart of hearts...I know you know this is true.
Please seek the help you need...with a QUALIFIED GRIEF counselor.

    WITH LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING,
    Dawn's Mother,
    Rose

  4. Debbie, thank you so much for your sweet compliment on my cards. I hope you enjoy your ATC swap. PTI is the stamp company Papertrey Ink. They have a great variety of stamps and stamping supplies as well as designers who create some fantastic cards and some incredibly nice folks on the forum. In addition to checking out the Papertrey Ink site, you might want to check out the blog of Nichole Heady, one of the owners of Papertrey, called Capture the Moment.
    Wishing you a peaceful day,

  5. Dearest Debbie,
What an incredible story and just a wonderful testament to God's provisions for us. Thank you friend for mentioning my mom and her need for prayer. It has been my privilege to pray for you and now to thank you for your prayers. It has only been a short time since Amy left you. The pain never goes away, it just gets a little easier to bear as time goes on. Just keep focused on the day when God will reunite you. Blessings my friend, Loretta

  7. It gets easier. That doesn't mean we lose our love or we forget. It was 12 years ago this month my grandma went to heaven. I sorely miss her. But I have gentle reminders, and I will NEVER forget. Right Place, Right Time, God's Will. That's the way it works.

  8. Ah sweetie. You are in my prayers. I admire you so much for your honesty ... how you still grieve, yet reach out to so many others who are also going through such pain. God bless you.

  10. Debbie, I can never add anything wise to your posts, because you have already said it all and said it so well. All I can say is Thank You for sharing and keeping up this blogging as a way to reach others who maybe have no one else in the whole world to care even one bit about them. They feel so alone and then your blog is like a spark of light to them.

  14. Debbie, I was so glad to hear from you, and I'm so sorry you're having trouble getting my blog to open for you. I have no understanding about how the internet works, so I can't imagine why you've been having trouble. This story about the pizza delivery is amazing and wonderful, and yes, God does work in mysterious ways. I'm sure when he took that job, he never realized it was in God's plan, and when that man and his wife ordered pizza, they never realized it was also God's plan. Praise God!
I think about you so often, and I can't even imagine the pain you still experience. The loss of anyone who is dear to us is so painful, but as is always said..you should not have to suffer the lose of your child. You and your family remain in my prayers. As I read each of your prayer requests, I said a special prayer for that person, and I'm saying a special prayer for you too. I'm sending you a big hug. laurie

  15. Hi Debbie,
Thanks for following me, I'm following you back. My husband and I were watching TV the other night and literally dropped down on our knees to pray when we saw the story retold on TV. We could just not believe the miracle that God put in action. Can you imagine how busy he must be? Thank you God for taking such good care of us.
