MALE CAT.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL DOILY I PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE SALE
ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO...I KEEP IT ON THE BACK OF THE COUCH
IN OUR OFFICE.
IT HAS SUCH PRETTY AND SOFT COLORS. I AM SURE IT IS THE TYPE
OF DOILY THAT YOU SPRAY STARCH AND IRON
BUT NOT ME........
I LOVE HOW VERY PRETTY IT LOOKS DRAPED OVER THE COUCH....
WITHOUT STARCH

ANDY PANDY DECIDED HE WANTED TO INTRODUCE THE NEXT

ITEM FOR PINK SATURDAY...THANK YOU ANDY FOR HELPING ME

OUT TODAY

THIS BEAUTIFUL SOUP TUREEN WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR MY
BIRTHDAY 8 YEARS AGO BY MY MOTHER. SHE PURCHASED IT AT
A THRIFT STORE.

IT IS SO VERY BEAUTIFUL. WHEN YOU TOUCH IT THE TUREEN HAS SUCH
A HIGH PING NOISE LIKE WHEN YOU FLICK FINE CRYSTAL AND IT SINGS
A HIGH TUNE. EVERYONE THAT IS A CRYSTAL COLLECTOR KNOWS IT IS
MUSIC TO THE EARS.

THERE ARE TWO BEAUTIFUL PINK ROSES ON EACH SIDE AND ONE
BEAUTIFUL PINK ROSE ON THE TOP. IT IS TRIMMED IN A BEAUTIFUL
SHADE OF GOLD.

IT IS VERY DELICATE AND "JUST ME!"

MY DH TRIED TO CAPTURE THE MARKINGS ON THE BOTTOM BUT IT IS
VERY DIFFICULT TO MAKE OUT......AND THE WRITING BELOW THE SYMBOL
IS WRITTEN IN RED.
IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A SET OF DISHES IN THIS
PATTERN, ESPECIALLY BOWLS.

THE OTHER DAY I HAD A PACKAGE ARRIVE FOR ME. IT WAS FROM MY

FAVORITE AUNT JEAN. WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE IT CONTAINED A

BEAUTIFUL PINK BOX WITH SILVER RIBBON.....STUNNING COLORS TOGETHER IF

YOU NEED TO WRAP SOMETHING.

IT CONTAINED A BEAUTIFUL

NOTE FROM AUNT AND A VERY PRETTY BRACELET. IT DIDN'T SHOW UP

IN THE PICTURE BUT IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL PINK RHINESTONE RIBBON ON

THE HEART. IT IS JUST SO VERY PRETTY. IT HAS SILVER BEADS THAT ARE

VERY SMOOTH AND SAY

HOPE

STRENGTH

AND

COURAGE.

MY AUNT IS ONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT PHYSICAL PAIN. I WOULD HATE TO

COUNT THE SURGERIES SHE HAS HAD JUST IN THE LAST SEVEN YEARS ALONE.

SHE WROTE ME THE SWEETEST NOTE:

DEBBIE DEAR,

THIS LITTLE BRACELET IS TO CHEER YOU AND TO SHOW MY LOVE

FOR YOU.

WEAR IT AND KNOW THAT IT IS MEANT TO BRING YOU JOY!

LOVE

AUNT JEAN

THE LORD IMPRESSED UPON HER SPIRIT TO SEND IT TO ME BECAUSE UNTIL

I CALLED HER TO THANK HER, MY FAMILY DID NOT KNOW THE DEPTHS OF

MY HEART PAIN (MY SISTER DID, BECAUSE WE ARE ATTACHED AND SOME-

TIMES KNOW WHAT THE OTHER ONE IS FEELING BEFORE THEY FEEL IT)

THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT JEAN...I WILL TREASURE IT FOREVER.

I HAD TO SHOW A PICTURE OF MY PETUNIAS AGAIN. WE WERE SO SURPRISED

IN THESE TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AND VERY HOT WIND THEY WOULD

HAVE DIED LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN DOING AROUND TOWN. I

WATER OUR FLOWERS OF A MORNING AND MY HUSBAND WATERS OF THE

EVENING.

PRAISE REPORT: DANA'S BABY GRAND BOY WENT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL

PRAISE YOU FATHER GOD

I FOUND A NEW BLOGGER FRIEND THAT LOVES TO TALK ABOUT JESUS....THAT

MUCH.

WALTER CRONKITE DIED AT THE AGE OF 92. I CAN REMEMBER HIM

TALKING ABOUT PRESIDENT KENNEDEY BEING KILLED WHEN I WAS JUST

  1. Oh Sweet Sister: As always another beautiful post. Your words are so precious to me. I don't have the knack with that part and you do, so between the two of us we have always made a whole. You know me, I love that doily. A gal can never have to many doilies. I also love the tureen. It is so pretty. Looks delicate and exquisite. I love the bracelet from Aunt Jean, that is so sweet of her. Treasure it always. And thank you Andy Pandy and Sarge for putting up with all of our pink today. Honey great post. 4. I know yr heart is very heavy, and yet you lift others up with your words, pictures, and encouragement. What a very special person you are. What strength, my dear. But it is also strong to cry and feel pain. From that beautiful Book, which is more and more calling to me, these words, JESUS WEPT. And yes, when I visit, I cry also for your pain and for Amy's struggle. Wishing you comfort today on Pink Saturday and every day. As usual you had a lovely post and those kitties of yrs are very fine gentlemen.

  7. Hi!! I love your pinks!! What great blogs to go and visit!!! OH I looked today and found one bottle of prevention. I'm pretty sure I can ship it in the smallest priority mail box for 4.95 anywhere in the US it was 4.98 and expires in 12/2011 so if you think she will use it by then I'd LOVE to go get it for you. I'm broke this week so I didn't buy it until you say you want it! I only checked one walgreens and can check another later today. I hate they are discontinuing this! I will pray she can get enough to last until she finds something else that works!
    Hugs, Lisa
    Happy Pink Saturday!

The bracelet from your Aunt Jean look gorgeous, what a treasure. I know you will cherish it.
As you know, I am taking a few days off and Amber and I are working on a new blog. I considered changing my name and then I remembered something you said about you liking the name and so I told Amber not to change the name, because the Purple Goat Lady is who I am.

You have such a way of writing a post that just makes people want to come a read it. It is a great gift and I thank you for sharing it. As always I worry about you and praying for God to fill your heart with peace and you know I pray for Amy.

Juan, my mexican helper, was here today and the morning went great and then we went to the lake to mow and weed-eat and things got all messed up and I decided we had done enough for one day, so I took him home.(not anything Juan did) Roy is fishing at Caddo Lake and will be home tomorrow.

I have rambled enough, I know you are tired and worried. Please take care of yourself. I need to straighten my house and do some cooking. Talk to you soon.

    Love,
    Barbara
