LEILA'S SURGERY AND AMY'S TESTS

THE GENTLEMAN IS CORBY....LEILA'S HUSBAND. HE JUST LOVES HIS LEILA AND HE ALSO NEEDS A LOT OF PRAYERS SO HE CAN BE STRONG FOR LEILA.
LEILA HAD HER SURGERY TODAY....
SHE WAS IN SURGERY FOR OVER 6 HOURS. THE CANCER HAD SPREAD OUTSIDE THE UTERUS AND ALONG THE ARTERY BEHIND HER LIVER. WHEN HER DOCTOR HAD FINISHED THE HYSTERECTOMY THEY HAD TO CALL IN A SPECIALITY SURGEON THAT DEALS IN THE LIVER. THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING FOR SHE COULD HAVE BLED TO DEATH.....THEY PUT A PORT-A-CATH IN, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL AS THAT WILL BE ONE LESS SURGERY SHE WILL HAVE TO HAVE. LEILA IS QUITE ILL AND NEEDS EVERY PRAYER WE CAN FIND FOR HER. SHE IS JUST 34 YEARS OLD...........
I WAS THINKING WHAT WOULD BE THE ODDS OF TWO BEST FRIENDS BATTLING CANCER AND BOTH HAVING PORT-A-CATHS.......THE SADNESS IS LEILA HAS FOR SURE HAD CANCER THE WHOLE TIME AMY HAS HAD CANCER AND NEVER KNEW THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH HER.
LEILA LOVES HER LONG HAIR AND HAS NEVER ALLOWED ANYONE TO CUT MORE THAN 2" OFF HER HAIR. IT WILL BE HARD, VERY HARD TO LOSE HER HAIR BUT AMY AND LEILA ARE BOTH STRONG WILLED AND THAT IS A QUALITY YOU MUST HAVE TO BEAT CANCER.
AMY GOES FOR THE CT SCAN OF HER CHEST TOMORROW AND THEN TO OKLAHOMA CITY ON MONDAY FOR APPOINTMENT WITH THE SURGEON.
THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS WILL BE ROUGH BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE.
THE BUNNY IS FOR AMY AND LEILA. THEY LOVE THE HOLIDAYS AND ESPECIALLY EASTER.
EVERY DAY I FIND MORE AND MORE PEOPLE IN NEED OF PRAYER............
JONAH...JOHNATHAN...JENNIFER...CORA...DEENA.....BEVERLY'S MOTHER....CINDY J'S MOTHER.....SEVERAL BLOGGER'S DAD'S NEED PRAYER, I DON'T REMEMBER THEIR NAMES BUT GOD DOES...DONNA...CAROL...CINDY...TAMARA....CONNIE....PATRICIA, SUZANNE, RICHARD , MY RICHARD,ROY AND ELISABETH, BOBBY, MY BROTHER TED HAS PNEUMONIA, MY MOTHER IN LOVE, MY BROTHER IN LOVE TONY....MADONNA, ALL OF LEILA'S FAMILY, RANDY, JANICE, ALL OF OUR SOLDIER'S PROTECTING OUR FREEDOM, ALL POLICE OFFICERS, FIREMEN AND WOMAN, AMBULANCE DRIVERS AND PARAMEDICS, OUR TEACHERS AND THE SCHOOLS TO REMAIN SAFE FOR THE CHILDREN, PASTORS AND THE CHURCH FROM ALL EVIL, NURSING HOMES....ALL THE PLACES LORD WHERE PRECIOUS PEOPLE ARE GATHERED, LIVE AND CANNOT PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM EVIL PEOPLE
"I WILL GIVE YOU BACK YOUR HEALTH AND HEAL THY WOUNDS," SAITH THE LORD.
~~JEREMIAH 30:17
YOU ALL ARE THE BEST....WONDERFUL FRIENDS.
BLESSINGS

  1. Both girls are BEAUTIFUL! Amy will be so good for Leila, as Leila has been for her! What a blessing that they have one another (and that they BOTH have YOU).
I will say extra prayers for both girls tonight, as well as hubby and Mommy. Please let us know as soon as you can about Amy's results.
Love the bunnies....that would make anyone smile!

  6. My Dear Friend Debbie, What a heart breaking story...but God has both of these beautiful girls in his hands and we have to put our trust in him. We are certainly praying at this house for all of you.
This is one of my favorite saying...

FAITH IS THE MOST POWERFUL OF ALL FORCES OPERATING IN HUMANITY, AND WHEN YOU HAVE IT IN DEPTH, NOTHING CAN GET YOU DOWN. NOTHING.

    MUCH LOVE,

  7. Debbie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog, it is very nice and at the same time ironic to meet you. My best friend has cancer and I am going through tests right now. All very scary! I am going to subscribe to your blog so I am sure to get updates on Amy and Leila. I have lost a lot of faith through the years but still pray and believe in the power of positive attitude. I will be wishing and praying for both girls.

  8. You are an incredibly giving person to be thinking of so many others who are suffering while your own daughter is going through her own battle. I pray the Lord will bless you tremendously for giving to others during your time of need. Will be praying for you, your daughter and now her friend!!!

  10. Debbie - I love you. I cannot help that I am crying and want to come right now and wrap all of you together and pray and love on you. I KNOW God is in control and HE is working a marvelously beautiful work - and when we all get to Heaven we will see His workmanship. He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper and have a HOPE (in Him and His Will).

I am asking prayer for them from everyone - on my blog, my facebook page, church prayer lists and the Global Prayer Wall we've started on Facebook. I love you so. God bless you my friend and Sister in Christ.
