THE JOURNEY OF THE ANGELS

TO MY DEAR BLOGGING FRIENDS.
YOU ARE THE "JOY OF MY LIFE" AND YOUR COMMENTS YOU HAVE POSTED
FOR ME HAVE HEALED A PART OF MY HEART. IT WAS LIKE UNWRAPPING
BEAUTIFUL JEWELS, THAT SPARKLED. THESE COMMENTS AND CARDS MY
CHILDREN HAVE MADE US OVER THE YEARS WITH FAMILY MOVIES ARE
WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN OUR LOCKED FIREPROOF BOX. WITH AMY IN HEAVEN
THEY ARE MORE PRICELESS THAN EVER. MY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ARE ALL
ON VCR TAPES. MY VCR IS BROKEN AND I WILL HAVE TO TRY AND REPLACE IT
BEFORE YOU CANNOT GET THEM ANY MORE.
I WAS SUPPOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN PINK SATURDAY AND I HAVE BEEN
SICK IN BED. OH, THE DRAMA OF IT ALL......LOL
MY APOLOGIES TO SWEET BEVERLY. I WAS EVEN READY FOR PINK
SATURDAY. SO I INCLUDED A FEW PINK THINGS AS A "I'M SORRY!"
I HAVE NOT BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE LATELY. I KNOW I HAVE
DISAPPOINTED A LOT OF PEOPLE.
MOTHER, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO GRIEVE. I RECEIVED THE
MOST BEAUTIFUL COMMENT FROM THE MOST PRECIOUS LADY WHO MOURNED THE
PASSING OF HER GRANDMOTHER AND DAD. SHE SAID SHE WENT ON TO
CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS BECAUSE HER GRANDMA TAUGHT HER HOW TO GRIEVE
BY EXAMPLE. MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER DID THAT SAME THING. SHE TAUGHT
ME BY EXAMPLE. SHE WENT ON WITH CHRISTMAS JUST THE WAY SHE
HAS FOR MY 54 YEARS OF LIFE, FOR OUR BUTTERFLY AMY AND FOR
EVERYONE.
FOR MY SWEET FRIENDS WHO DO NOT KNOW, I HAVE STARTED A NEW BLOG.
YOU CAN GET TO IT FROM MY PROFILE PAGE OR THE URL.
IT IS CALLED "SIMPLY DEBBIE"
PLEASE STOP BY AND VISIT IT.

I WANTED TO SHARE THE WORDS TO A SONG ENYA SINGS
THE JOURNEY OF THE ANGELS
LYRICS BY~ROMA RYAN
SOMEWHERE
IN A WINTER NIGHT
THE ANGELS
BEGIN THEIR FLIGHT;
DARK SKIES
WITH MILES TO GO,
NO FOOTSTEPS
TO BE LOST IN SNOW
THEY FLY TO YOU
OH, NEW-BORN KING
THEY FLY TO YOU
OH, ANGELS SING
ONE IS SORROW
ONE IS PEACE
ONE WILL COME
TO GIVE YOU SLEEP
ONE IS COMFORT
ONE IS GRIEF
ONE WILL TAKE
THE TEARS YOU WEEP

NEW STAR

IN A MIDNIGHT SKY

IN HEAVEN

ALL THE ANGELS FLY

SOFT WINGS SO TRUE

AND ALL THINGS

THEY WILL GIVE TO YOU

SOME WHERE

IN A WINTER NIGHT

THE ANGELS

BEGIN THEIR FLIGHT

TONIGHT

ALL SING

OH, ANGELS

A NEW-BORN KING

TONIGHT

ALL SING

OH ANGELS

A NEW-BORN KING

I WISH ALL THE BLESSINGS GOD HAS FOR US IN 2010 TO FIND
THEIR WAY TO OUR DOORSTEP...THE SUNSHINE OF FRIENDS...HEALTH, SO
WE CAN VISIT THOSE WHO ARE ILL...PROSPERITY, SO WE CAN
HELP THOSE IN NEED...MUSIC, SO WE CAN CALM THOSE WHO
GRIEVE, AND A LONG BATH EACH NIGHT WHERE WE CAN BE
STILL AND HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD.
2010 SOUNDS SO FUTURISTIC....REMEMBER THE JETSON'S......
DO YOU THINK WHEN WE ARE DRIVING AROUND OUR SPACE CARS
THEY WILL HAVE ANY IN PINK...WHAT WOULD THE ROMANTIC
HOME LOOK LIKE THEN...WOULD SHABBY CHIC BE OUT....LOL

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL WINTER BOUQUET FROM FTD. I WISH I COULD

SEND EACH ONE OF YOU A REAL ONE BUT ((SIGH)) I CAN'T SO

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS ONE. YOU ARE ALL SO VERY SPECIAL.

I FORGOT TO PUT MY PENNIWIG ANGEL AS I ALWAYS DO

FOR " ANGEL HUGS" BUT SHE'LL FORGIVE ME AND KNOW I STILL LOVE HER

ANGEL HUGS

  4. Debbie~ I hope you are feeling better! I used to wonder too about a future lifestyle like the Jetson's, but I think I like the wheels of my car touching the ground, LOL! We shall see though, they are inventing new fangled things all the time:) Hugs, Carmen

  5. Such a beautiful post. We do not get a roadmap about how to grieve such a terrible heartrending loss, and it is hard to find our way, especially in a society that seems kind of scared of grief. I am glad you are able to draw strength from your mother's way of continuing forward. It is all very bewildering and you deserve a hug and 100 of those Winter Bouquets for being so brave. As I learned in AA, one step at a time. When that's too much, one minute. Too much? One second at a time.
