It is a very beautiful building and from a far distance it looks like a castle.
ON MONDAY NIGHT WHEN AT 1000PM THE TEMP WAS 76 OUTSIDE.......SNOW EARLY
THURSDAY
Thank You for visiting this cold day. This will be early am Friday when I post this and we will be
on our way back to Oklahoma City for Amy's PET Scan. I will see what the freeze did to the
Beauty of Spring in OKC.
Tuesday was a beautiful day with the splendor of Spring: The Red bud Trees were wearing
swirling skirts of pink, the Ornamental Pear Trees were wearing tuxedos of white and
the Hycaniths were wearing bold purple.
THEN CAME WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.......freezing temps with some ice and snow!!!
My Daddy lost all the blooms on his three year old Almond Tree...they didn't get Almonds last
year... the "squirrels" destroyed them......they lost the blooms on their Peach and Apricot Trees.
With the few days of warm weather the trees wanted to burst forth with Spring as much as we
wanted Spring to come.
That is why I will not rush to my flower gardens...It is very sad to watch your garden freeze
and you will loose money.
I also do not want to disturb my seeds that are waiting to grow...I love wildflowers.
Have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy the pictures of Spring.
Hugs

Beautiful pics Debbie, we've had the same weather here, spring, now winter again!! LOL!! Gotta love it.

There are many springs when my beautiful magnolia tree is just starting to bloom, and then we get snow! It just kills the buds and my beautiful tree doesn't really bloom that year! It's heartbreaking, BUT there's always next year!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this year is not one that we get snow in April!
Have a lovely day, I pray everything goes well with the pet scan!
Debbie the pictures of the blossoming trees and the hyacinths ae beautiful. The weather has been crazy all over. One day sunny and warm, the next frigid and snowy. I am thankful for the warm sunny ones! Will keep you in prayer that the pet scan results will be good. Blessings, Loretta
ReplyDeleteYes we were 80 last week and 40 this week, we needed the rain though, just wish is could have stayed warm, love the photos, especially the one of your cat
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly....it is hard to see the cold temps again when we thought they were over. Last year I lost some plants and hoping that none will die this year. The commerce building does indeed look like a castle...how pretty. Hope ya'll are doing well and have a GREAT weekend!!!
Hugs & Blessings,
~Katherine~
Sounds like my weather patterns lately...crazy huh? I'm really ready for spring, can't wait to start gardening.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of the trees with their blossoms. Our purple plum is so pretty right now. The weather is a mystery this year. Hopefull spring for sure really soon. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteGM Debbie...loved all your pics of spring time..only one more week to go and all my trees are just starting to bloom here..but I am at 3000 ft so it takes awhile in the mountains for full spring to hit us..hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteThat is so Spring...one day we are in shorts and the next day icicles are hanging from our noses!

Debbie, will be thinking of you on your trip and hoping all goes well there!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the snow. Hope it stops soon...
XO,
Sheila :-)
The pictures are so pretty! We had a huge Bradford Pear that came down during a gentle rain. We replaced it with a Red Bud. Both trees are so beautiful in bloom, but the Pear had an unpleasant fragrance.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! It has been an interesting weather week in Oklahoma, hasn't it? I hope things went well with the PET scan. My MIL is having one on Tuesday...
ReplyDeleteSame kind of weather here in Birmingham, but without the snow this week. The week we had snow, we had tornados on Friday, snow on Sunday, and 72 by the following Wednesday. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie!! Your pics are beautiful. Sounds like you need a trip to sunny Florida, huh? Come on down!!
ReplyDeletePlease know that I am praying about Amy's pet scan. May God give you all His perfect peace, and heal any problem she might have.
Have you entered your name for my giveaway? Well, I'm putting your name in if you haven't!!
Keep us posted.
Tender blessings,
Becky
