IT IS THAT TIME OF THE WEEK....................."PiNk sAtUrDaY".......................
I BOUGHT SOME BEAUTIFUL HYDRANGEA'S AS DID SHERRY AT EDIE MARIES ATTIC.
I HAVE INCLUDED THIS PICTURE BECAUSE SO MANY HAVE ASK ME ABOUT AN UP
DATE ON AMY. AS THOSE OF YOU WHO FOLLOW MY BLOG KNOW, I POSTED THIS
PICTURE FOR "FRIENDS" ON DIXIE'S "WORDLESS WEDNESDAY"
THE BLUE HAT IS MY AMY...THE BEIGE HAT IS LEILA HER VERY BEST FRIEND
AMY AND LEILA BOTH HAVE 100'S OF FRIENDS BUT THEY SHARE A BOND LIKE
SISTERS'. LEILA HAS BEEN THERE FOR AMY EVERY SINGLE DAY OF HER ILLNESS...
ON THE DAY AMY GOT THE RESULTS OF HER PET SCAN....HER BEST FRIEND LEILA
WAS HAVING OUT PATIENT SURGERY. MONDAY, THE DR WILL CALL LEILA WITH
THE FINAL RESULTS BUT THEY TOLD HER PARENTS AND HUSBAND SHE PROBABLY
HAS UTERINE CANCER.......WE ARE ALL SO DEEP IN PRAYER BOTH FOR HER AND AMY
AMY DOES HAVE CANCER IN THE LYMPH NODES OF HER LEFT NECK AND EVEN EAR-
LOBE THE DR. SAID....SHE HAS A LITTLE CYST WHERE HER EARRING WAS AND
WE THINK IT IS AN INFECTION AND NOT CANCER.
THIS IS WHY OUR HEALTH CARE IS SO OUTRAGEOUS.....
FEBRUARY 27, 2009 THEY DO A CT SCAN.................
THE CT SCAN DOESN'T SHOW IF IT IS CANCEROUS..............
SO THEY DO A $5,000.00 PET SCAN THAT SHOWS IT IS QUOTE "CANCEROUS"
BUT THE PET SCAN CANNOT SHOW IF THE LYMPH SYSTEM ON THE LEFT SIDE
OF HER NECK
CAN EVEN BE REMOVED.....SO THEY HAVE TO REPEAT THE $2,000.00 CT SCAN
GRRR...GRRRRR....GRRRR
ON MARCH 27, 2009 TO SEE IF THEY CAN EVEN DO SURGERY...............
NOW IT SEEMS TO ME IF THEY COULD INVENT A MACHINE THAT DOES THE
WORK OF A PET SCAN COMBINED WITH A CT SCAN, THEY COULD CHARGE
$6,000.00 AND STILL BE MAKING MONEY.
SO WE WAIT UNTIL MONDAY FOR LEILA AND WE WAIT UNTIL AFTER
MARCH 27, 2009 FOR AMY TO HAVE A CT SCAN. I AM UNDER THE ASSUMPTION
THAT SURGERY WILL BE DONE QUICKLY AFTER THAT IF IT CAN BE REMOVED.
I THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS......I HATE CANCER WITH A PASSION.
THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE IN BLOG LAND THAT ARE IN DESPERATE NEED
OF PRAYER. WE COULD BE ON OUR KNEES FOR 24 HOURS AND NOT BRING FORTH
EVERY NAME WHO NEEDS PRAYER.....AFTER I PRAY FOR THE ONES I KNOW I
JUST ASK GOD TO BRING FORTH HEALING OR RESTORATION OR ANYONE WHO
NEEDS PRAYER.
MY COUSIN SUZIE TOLD ME THERE WAS A MAN AT THEIR CHURCH WHO WAS
HEALED OF BRAIN CANCER.....THE DOCTOR WENT AHEAD WITH THE SURGERY AND
WHEN HE GOT TO THE BRAIN....GLORY BE TO GOD.....THERE WAS NO CANCER.....
NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HIS BRAIN. PRAISES BE TO GOD.
I ENJOYED SPENDING SOME OF PINK SATURDAY WITH EACH OF YOU
BLESSINGS

ReplyDeleteWhew!!! What a fun ride on the Pink Sat. Party Bus!! We folks certainly know how to shop---YOU certainly know what we like!!! :) I will be chomping on my Bazooka as the Tigers play tomorrow. Whatever the outcome for the Tigers (we're just grateful they made it to the Big Dance this year!) I'll be watching the games--right down to the last one! I just love college basketball!
ReplyDeleteMy prayers continue for your girl and her friend, Debbie. Dana
great post, I do have to ask what is there so much space between your posting? something dosnt seem right with your blog settings.
ReplyDeleteI love those pink gloves--every woman should have a pair!
Health care and doctors are out of control in this country like so many things...i think most of us feel most times its not about caring for a human being but about raking up costs. I pray for amy and that it all goes well.
Your Pink Posts always make me smile. Thanks for the ride. ♥ T.

Hi sweet Debbie,
ReplyDeleteThis was certainly a fun post!! It reminded me of some of the posts Sheila at the Quintessential Magpie has done lately!! Just too much fun!! And so cleverly done!!
You know I will pray for Amy and Leila, and wisdom for you all and the healthcare providers.
One of my daughters closest friends had Ewings Sarcoma--a form of bone cancer and we prayed her through that!!
May God richly bless you sweetie, and touch and heal your precious daughter and her friend!! He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or even think!!
Blessings, hugs, and prayers,
Becky
Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteThat was one amazing post....as a matter of fact after I leave you this comment I am going back to read it again....just to make sure I didn't miss anything.....I loved your bus tour and your sister and the PINK HELICOPTER made me smile....and I do agree about the health care ...I do hope they do something about it soon.....and I will put everyone on my prayer list....so many sick people out there.....you asked me about my bench....no we didn't make it I bought it at a craft show...very good price $50...this man is retired and loves doing wood work and makes things for fun and sells them at such a good price....I also bought a potting bench from him....I haven't done anything with it yet....it is raining again and next week we are going on vacation so in a few weeks I will get to it.....I want to Thank You Debbie for always leaving me such sweet sweet comments...you are the best....
Hugs,
Mo :-)
Wow, Debbie. That was the most amazing tour ever!!! I am tuckered out. Maybe I need to go put my feet up and watch some more basketball. I love it.

ReplyDeleteDebbie, thank you for the pretty bouquet. That was so sweet of you. And thank you, too, for your words of love that you so sweetly take the time to leave on my blog. I am like you, I wish I could have traded places with my son, however he is having the time of his life in Heaven and getting to meet relatives that he has never met and reaquainting himself with those who knew and loved so well.
Have a lovely new week,
xo
